QDS products are our showcase for JET’s innovative approach to problem solving and design. We pride ourselves on thinking outside the box to develop user-friendly attachments that are expertly engineered to provide cost effective quality that stands up to the toughest of tough conditions.
Our QDS products have a reputation for being the strongest in the industry. They are built to withstand the harsh underground environment. And our extensive experience in the underground mining industry ensures that our products are suited to their intended applications.
Our range includes our unique QD900 Tyre Handler, which eliminates all manual handling from the replacement of tyres on shuttle cars and other underground mining equipment.
And then there’s our industry leading dewatering pods which feature a completely modular design for ease of maintenance.
The base frame is galvanised for maximum wear life, and the tanks are painted with high build, abrasion resistant epoxy paint for maintainability. All of this works together to extend the service life of the pods and reduce the whole of life ownership cost.
Our QDS product line also includes our range of man baskets including single tier, two-tier, and our innovative idler change man basket. All of our man baskets feature certified harness anchor points as a standard inclusion.
All of our QDS product designs are assessed and certified by an RPEQ Mechanical Engineer for structural strength and stability effects on the carrying LHD.
When we supply a new QDS attachment, it arrives on site with all of the documentation required for introduction to site: design risk assessment, certification report, NDT report, and where required, an operator’s manual and maintenance manual.
